The wine:

The grapes for this vintage came from Fort Bowie, near Willcox, Arizona. This wine was aged in neutral Hungarian Oak.

The Nose:

A cloud of strawberries, violets, cedar, pipe tobacco, cherry and basil.

The Palate:

Succulent red fruits, Cherry, Cloudberry, Mulberry, and Cranberry. These notes swirl with honey, vanilla, plum, sandalwood, and prickly pear.


Sangiovese is a wine known for pairing very well with Italian foods. Evelyn pairs well with pasta with basil and tomato sauce, and fresh grilled vegetables. Don't forget the chocolate for dessert!
